Strategy

The challenge was to bring all eleven photographers together in one key visual without making it feel overloaded. In exploring the exhibition’s theme, I wanted to make the idea behind the title visible through a collage. From the very beginning, I also considered how the concept could come to life through animation.

Design

The bold title, set in the condensed typeface Anton, forms the visual framework of the key visual and creates an immediate point of attention. The photographs are placed within the title and arranged along a shared line. In animation, an additional three-dimensional layer creates a stronger sense of the photographers coming together as one collective presence, while also making it possible to highlight individual photographers.

Results

A simple concept gives each photographer their own presence while bringing the eleven perspectives together into one cohesive visual. The key visual was applied across a selection of print materials for the opening, as well as adapted for social media to mark special events throughout its run.
